H!P fans - They know exactly who these girls and which groups they're from. And they're more interested in the unit rather than the anime. I observe only some, like me for example, would be drawn to actually watching the anime to see what it's about. Others usually find it a little too kiddy to watch..&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;2. Shugo Chara fans - I've encountered them, and they really don't know much about the girls themselves and are pretty new to H!P itself. Of course, I did try to sorta promote the girls and H!P in general, but I don't think it worked. They were more caught up in the anime.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;So I don't think it really is a bad idea to create a new sub-unit just for an anime series. If anything, it COULD introduce more people to H!P once they get curious.
